NIWIIT Membership Application Process

Membership with the Nigeria Women in Information Technology (NIWIIT) is open to all women who are involved directly or indirectly in the use of computers and information technology. We offer four categories of membership to suit different levels of involvement in the ICT sector.

NIWIIT Membership Application Process

Step 1: Visit the NIWIIT Website

To begin your application journey, go to https://niwiitng.org to start your application

Step 2: Read Membership Requirements

- Navigate to Membership Requirements under the menu.
- Review the criteria for Professional, Affiliate, and Student Membership before proceeding.

Step 3: Prepare Your Credentials & Payment Card

- Professional Member: NCS Certificate + other credentials
- Affiliate Member: All relevant credentials
- Student Member: Letter of Attestation from your Dean or Registrar

Step 4: Click "Register Now" Under Your Membership Category

- Use a valid email address for confirmation.
- Create a password to set up your account.

Step 5: Verify Your Email

- Check your inbox for a confirmation email and activate your account.

Step 6: Make Payment for Application, Annual Due & Induction

- Professional: ₦3,000 (Form) + ₦7,500 (Annual Due) + ₦10,000 (Induction)
- Affiliate: ₦3,000 (Form) + ₦5,000 (Annual Due) + ₦10,000 (Induction)
- Student: ₦1,500 (Form) + ₦2,500 (Annual Due) + ₦5,000 (Induction)

Step 7: Complete the Membership Form

- Go to your dashboard, click Membership Form, and fill it out.
- You will receive an email notification upon submission.

Step 8: Notify Your Referee

- Enter your referee's email address in the form.
- The referee must approve your application before it is processed.

Step 9: Application Review

- NIWIIT will verify your credentials and submitted information.
- If approved, you will receive an acceptance notification.

Step 10: Receive Membership Confirmation

- A membership number will be generated for you.
- You will receive an official confirmation letter via email.
